I had to take the kids to get flu shots before my monthly prenatal appointment. Of course it snowed and was really windy. I really hate having to bundle the kids up. I spent about 10 mins making sure everyone had their coats, hats, and gloves on. Then I walked out the door without my coat. Figures! Jake did really good with the new nasal mist. Izzy didn't cry when she got her shot. Ellie threw the biggest fit. Of course...it is times like that that make me dread how she will be when she is a teen. Total drama queen. We went to my doctor's appointment and everything looks good. I am still measuring big.
After the appointment we went to DQ and had a nice lunch. We all tried to see how long we could hold plastic spoons on our noses. Needless to say there were many belly laughs. Then, Ellie gave me a tutorial of how chicken nuggets are made. It is hard to keep a straight face when a four year old is explaining how to cut a chickens head off, drain the blood, and pluck the feathers. She knows way too much for her age.
The picture above is what Jake has picked out for Christmas...here is the description....
