Homecoming

This week is Homecoming week here in Big Ol' Coon Rapids. The whole town is really into the whole thing. Windows are painted downtown, people are wearing school colors, and some have even painted the school mascot on their driveways. I think that it is great. It is nice to live in such a small town and see every excited about the same thing. It was really enjoyable to drive Jake to school this morning and see so many houses Tpeed. For some reason they forgot to do the principals. Wonder what that was all about. Jake participated in the theme days for the week. There is a parade this afternoon and he decorated his bike so he could ride it. He is really excited about it. We are going to the game tonight...which I am not sure about yet. The kids will love it though.
